A fantastic opportunity has arisen as Head Golf Professional at a busy 27-hole, par 3 and 30 bay floodlit academy complex. The successful candidate must be a highly motivated and organized individual, with at least three years' experience in retail management, coaching and managing a large team of people. A proven track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets and excellent customer service expectations is a must.

The Shropshire Golf Centre is part of the Burhill Golf and Leisure Ltd group and one of the largest owners and operators of golf facilities in the UK privately owned by the Guinness Family. The Company is committed to ensuring that each site provides the highest quality in its market with particular emphasis on operating standards.

The main responsibilities will include:
- Managing the retail shop and its staff to maximize retail sales and profit
- Managing and developing the Golf Academy, with opportunities for lessons
- Ensuring our customers have a first class experience on our courses (27 holes in total)
- HOD responsibilities and Duty Management shifts
- Assisting with managing the day to day operations of the golf center including staffing and POS area.
