The Shropshire Golf Centre has practice facilities which rival some of the best in the country. 27 holes, a 12 hole Academy course, 30 bay driving range and short game learning area complement the services our PGA qualified Professionals can offer.
Head Professional Mark Sutcliffe and his PGA qualified team of instructors offer the highest quality service, expertise and advice available and cater for juniors, beginners, ladies, groups, societies and aspiring elite level players or Tour Professionals alike. We have access to the latest highest quality video analysis technology, using it everyday to improve the games of our many students. Our Professionals will analyse your strengths and weaknesses, devising a tailored practice regime for each individual. You also have the option to burn your swing onto CD, to study at home or in the office. We use the latest in training and technology such as the fantastic EXPLANAR, which can help you turn swing thoughts into feelings.

If you know any juniors between the ages of 6 and 15 who are looking to get started in golf, we are still looking for juniors to join the next YMG group coaching sessions, on Saturday mornings. YMG is a block of 8 one hour lessons run over an eight week period and teaches children etiquette, rules, technique and the basics of the game in an easy to understand way. Meet our Professionals
Mark Sutcliffe - Head Professional - Mark joined the Club in October 2006 and has been a fully qualified member of the PGA since 2005. A former PGA Trainee of the Year, Mark has worked under PGA Master Professional Denis Pugh, coach to Colin Montgomerie, having worked at such prestigious clubs as The Wisley in Surrey, Carden Park and Woodmont in Atlanta.
Tom Gibbs - Academy Instructor - Tom recently joined the team at The Shropshire in December 2007 and is a fully qualified member of the PGA. Tom also holds a BA Hons degree in Applied Golf Management studies and is a registered Mind Factor coach after having worked extensively with European Tour mind coach Dr Karl Morris.
