New to Golf

Golf is a fun, healthy, social game that can be enjoyed by everyone, whatever your age. From children and families, the self-employed, stay-at-home mums, business professionals, to the recently retired, golf is a great way to escape the rush of modern life and enjoy quality time in the fresh air.

The Shropshire Golf Centre welcomes new golfers and has all the facilities and coaching services to help introduce you to your new sport. We’re especially proud of our short course, the ideal place for new golfers to gain confidence and learn how to play in a relaxed, informal setting. Of course, we also have a covered, floodlit driving range, short game area and two practice putting greens, plus a team of friendly PGA qualified professionals at our Academy to help your learn.
